Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have been painting the town red in their dancing shoes. The actors have been rehearsing and shooting for ABCD 2 for the last few months over their other schedules. In the next few days, the dancing duo and their director Remo D’Souza will head to Las Vegas to shoot a crucial portion of the film: the power-packed climax and the build-up to it.
Dancers Suresh and Vernon will also be a part of this schedule since they are also playing parts in ABCD 2. For those not in the know, Shraddha plays a character loosely based on Sureshs wife Pallavi and Varun plays Suresh, whose troupe journeyed from Vasai to Vegas.
A source close to the production team confirms the story, adding, “Suresh and Vernon Group won the World Hip Hop Championship a few years ago in the same city. So, it makes sense to shoot the climax at the same venue and at the same competition. It will add authenticity to the project. The competition could have been recreated in Mumbai also, but it wouldnt have made the desired difference to the film. A line producer is on board and it will be a month-long schedule.”
Remo had toured Las Vegas and a few smaller cities in its vicinity in May this year. The purpose was to shortlist locations for his dance-drama, which will have about 15 songs, four-five more than what there were in ABCD, the prequel that released in 2012.
